School teams have until the countdown clock reaches ZERO to submit a word related to the specialist subject using the "letter boxes" below.

All schools that have playedd CLOCKWORD SPECIALS this week will be entered into our Weekly CLOCKWORD Draw. If your school ID comes up you can exchange your week's best score for a single game for WORDPOINTS. The WORDPOINTS are worth £1 per point and can be exchanged for educational equipment vouchers.

You can use the RESET BUTTON as often as you like BUT once you SUBMIT your word it cannot be changed. BUT, also bear in mind, the letter options change during the game - opening up possibilities for an even higher score ( or limiting you to a lower one).

You must make 5 letter box selections ( no more : no less ) in the order of the word you want to submit. 

You can select the same numbered "letter box" more than once. This enables you to earn, potentially crucial, Bonus Points.

These are added when you select boxes worth the same number of points more than once: 2 x = 20 ; 3 x = 40 ; 4 x = 70 ; 5 x = 100.
